The Glacier Mass Balance Intercomparison Exercise (GlaMBIE) is a collaborative research project that aims to reconcile measurements of glacier mass balance. It brings together community contributions from different techniques, which are analysed and combined to produce a consensus estimate. Following the success of the first phase (2022–2024), GlaMBIE-2 launched in August 2025.
